Week of February 24th: Response to Lexie

 Hello Lexie. I too am upset about the sexualization of women in films and books. I thought that the film and book we had for Serrata's class did not do justice for the woman. The film did show them helping but after they did their job, the ones who helped it seemed were all killed off. It kind of made it seem that they were not important or strong enough to survive. Overall, I am just upset that women are not getting the respect and representation they deserve.
